How to register for Online banking or the Westpac App
Before you can enroll for online banking and mobile app you need to have the following items ready such as your card number, Customer ID, and account information on hand. You can find your Customer ID near the top of your bank statement.—– Please note: Internet connection is needed to access Westpac App.

How to ADD YOUR TAX FILE NUMBER (TFN)
Manage your Tax File Number in Online Banking or the Westpac App
Mobile
. Search Tax File Number (TFN)
. Select the account you wish to update
. Tap Choose option
. Tap Enter Tax File Number or Declare Tax File Number exemption
. Enter details and tap Update
. Repeat above steps for all accounts you wish to provide TFN
Online
. Go to Services > Preferences > Tax File Number
. Select Update Tax File Number
. Enter the SMS Code sent to your registered mobile and select Authorise
. Select the account you wish to update
. Enter your TFN or TFN exemption and select Save
. Repeat above steps for all accounts you wish to provide TFN
Daily transfer limit for Westpac bank
The default Daily Payment Limit is $750 per day for your Online Banking. The limit is shared between you and anyone who has access to make payments. If you change your Daily Payment Limit, everyone with shared access will also be able to access the modified limit.
You can change your Daily Payment Limit (up to a maximum of $10,000) using Online Banking or the Westpac App. If you need to increase your limit above $10,000, call us through the Westpac App.
